What is Live Well Learn Well?

The Live Well Learn Well (LWLW) initiative is a collaboration between the Skills@cumbria Team and the Mental Health & Wellbeing Team. The aim of LWLW is to provide advice, guidance and top tips about getting the most out of your studies and university life. We want you to thrive at UoC, not just academically, but personally too.

The LWLW Team provide a blog where articles are released regularly, and we also provide online and face-to-face workshops throughout the academic year. You may also find the Library Wellbeing Collection great to dip in and out of for all things health and wellbeing related!

New Students

For our new students arriving on one of our campuses for the first time, you may find the following introduction to each campus helpful, to assist with familiarising yourself with the local area and what our beautiful regions have to offer.

We also have our campus greenspace series, advising you on some great walks that you can do in your local area.

Distance Learners

If you are one of our many Distance Learners, a good starting point may be looking at out Study Tips series, providing top tips from other UoC students about how to study well, or the ‘How to get started on an Assignment’ blog, to help you prepare for the year ahead.

Subscribe!

Make sure to subscribe to the blog to get articles delivered straight to your email. Articles often take no longer than 5 minutes to read and they may just give you an idea, technique or outlook that could help you as you move forward with your student journey…
